Maria Grazia Fleed è di fronte alle origini del "male" sul pianeta Fleed... proprio mentre Duke combatte nello spazio con il suo Goldrake l'oscurità (Ankoku) incarnata per distruggere ciò di cui sono fatti tutti i robot esistenti nell'universo...
Intanto sul pianeta terra il professor Nagai scopre la sostanza primordiale della quale sono fatti tutti i robot esistenti (terrestri e non) e fa un annuncio in mondovisione..
